Tuesday, April 13, 2010 I need to break up with my boyfriend. He’s made me cry and mad so many times. I’ve given him chances to change but he never pulled through for me. I tried doing it today but I can’t help but feel like I still want to go out with him, even after everything he’s put me through. He told me he’ll change, quit some things, and fix the problems. But I already feel like I’ve given more than enough chances and I don’t want to risk getting hurt. Should I give him another chance? From reading your question it sounds like you know what you need to do. You have given him opportunities to change before and he hasn’t. What makes you think this time will be different? You can have feelings for someone and realize that they aren’t good date material. Go with your gut. Why would you want to continue to go out with someone who continues to make you cry and mad? |
