"The relationship isn’t working. How do I get out of it without losing the friendship?" |
Wednesday, June 10, 2009 The relationship isn’t working. How do I get out of it without losing the friendship? There are no guarantees how someone will respond to a break up, however, seeking to end it with the least amount of damage to the friendship is a great idea. It is always a good idea to treat someone like you would want to be treated. Be respectful and honest. The whole point of dating is finding out what you like and don’t like in relationships. Most high school dating relationships don’t turn into marriage. While breaking up might be hard to do, it is perfectly appropriate and in many instances friendships remain in tact although it may take a little while for the other person to come around. |
"This guy really likes me, but I don't want to go out with him. Help!" |
Tuesday, June 9, 2009 This guy really likes me, but I don’t want to go out with him. I try to stay away from him, but he keeps showing up. Help! Sometimes people don’t take hints very well. We suggest politely telling him thank you, but you are not interested in going out on a date with him. If he continues to hang around, you probably should talk with your parents about the situation. |
